SafetyNow’s Moira Gelman has worked in a number of countries around the world delivering NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and IOSH Managing Safely.

Over the last 5 years Moira has delivered training in China, Kazakhstan, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Bangladesh, Bulgaria and Germany.

Moira’s success rate is extremely high.

Between these 17 students they obtained 4 distinctions, 7 credits. And a pass. An outstanding 86% pass rate from all the exams.

Moira’s student, Zhang Qiang obtained the highest mark worldwide for the Nebosh International General Certificate in Occupational health and safety in 2018/2019. He was top student out of 10,000 students. He came to the UK in June 2019 to collect his award and Moira was there to congratulate him.

To quote Moira:

“Give me a motivated group of students and the correct time allocation to deliver the course with a couple of days revision, and this is what can be achieved.”.

In January 2016 Moira was invited to address an international conference for the Petrochemical Industries in China to deliver a presentation on the moral, financial and economic advantages for understanding and managing health and safety in the workplace.

In February 2018, Moira was invited to deliver a presentation at the British Embassy in Moscow, Russia to delegates in the mining industry. The discussion was entitled “The benefits of Health and Safety Training.”.
