Latest Course: NEBOSH NGC in January 2016

Published on: 1st Dec 2015

The New Year is fast approaching and with it comes the latest health and safety training course from SafetyNow.

The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety course will take place from Monday 4th - Tuesday 26th January at Leeds Golf Club, near Roundhay Park, and will provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the legal requirements for health and safety in the UK.

The course is broken down into three sections:

  • Management of Health & Safety
  • Controlling Workplace Hazards
  • Health & Safety Practical Application

The course timetable has been designed and scheduled to give you the best chance of success, so rather than studying the full course and then taking both exams at once, the programme is broken up in order to give you ample time for revision.

Course programme

Block Release [12-day] course - 2 x 1 week blocks, plus 2 further days. This is usually scheduled as follows:

  • Week 1 Monday - Friday: Study for NGC1
  • One-week break
  • Week 2 Monday: Revision & NGC1 exam
  • Week 2 Tuesday - Friday: Study for GC2
  • Week 3 Monday - Revision for GC2
  • Week 3 Tuesday: GC2 exam

The NEBOSH National General Certificate can also be run as an in-house course.
