Great Results from NEBOSH Health & Safety Course

As our latest group of delegates approach their final exam in the NEBOSH GC2 this week, we are delighted to congratulate students who attended the course in October 2015 who all passed with flying colours!

SafetyNow director and course tutor, Moira Gelman, said: “Some amazing marks were achieved with a number of distinctions within the group. All the hard work paid off and I am very, very proud of every single one of my students.

I must also commend our most senior student so far – 81 year old Irving Pearce – who achieved a fantastic result. How many 81 year olds would have the drive and ability to put themselves through this gruelling course and then sit a 2 hour hand written exam? Well done Irving – I take my hat off to you!”

With a 99% pass rate, Moira’s students are bucking the national average, which currently stands at around 50-60%. “I believe that our students are achieving such fantastic pass rates partly due to how I have structured the course itself,” says Moira.

“Rather than working relentlessly for 2 weeks then having to cram for a lengthy exam, I break the course into more manageable sections. For example the next course in April is broken down as follows:

  • 4-8 April: NGC1
  • 18 April: NGC1 Exam
  • 19-22 April: GC2
  • 25-26 April: Revision & GC2 Exam.”
